MILEY CYRUS SIGNS ON FOR NEW MOVIE ROLE

Miley Cyrus has signed on to star in the big-screen adaptation of the thriller "Wake." The movie is based on the first book in a trilogy of novels that chronicle the adventures of a teenager who is able to see into other people's dreams. Miley's new album, "Can't Be Tamed," hits stores on Monday. Check out the remix for the album's title track featuring Lil' Jon.

HAN SOLO AND ALLY MCBEAL GET MARRIED!

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart were married Tuesday at the governor's mansion in Santa Fe, N.M., with Gov. Bill Richardson doing the honors. The couple, who've been together for eight years and are raising a son together, got engaged in March 2009. Ford is currently filming the new movie, "Cowboys and Aliens," in Santa Fe.

ROBERT PATTINSON TALKS ABOUT GETTING NAKED

"Twilight" sensation Robert Pattinson stars in "Bel Ami," a period drama based on French author Guy de Maupassant's 1885 novel of the same name. The actor is playing Georges Duroy, a journalist who rises from rags to riches thanks to his various connections to powerful and wealthy mistresses, a lineup of women played by Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas and other notable actresses. "I think there's a lot of my crack in it. I think there's quite a bit of nudity," the actor told MTV News about the film.

EMINEM'S "RECOVERY" PUSHED UP

Due the early leak and high demand, Eminem’s forthcoming "Recovery" album has been pushed up. Interscope Records has announced the project will now arrive on Monday, June 21st, just one day earlier than it’s previous release date. Vice Chairman of the label Steve Berman explained in a statement, “We believe fans want to support their favorite artists by purchasing the real album and not a leaked version.” He added, “At the same time, we realize speed is of the essence when fans are so passionate about wanting to hear new songs from such an enormously popular artist like Eminem. Even by releasing Recovery only a day earlier than previously announced, it makes a difference to those fans, and doesn’t mess too much with our marketing, promotion, publicity and sales plans for the debut of a truly great album.”

KID CUDI ARRESTED!

Kid Cudi was arrested and charged with felony criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance Friday in New York. Authorities were called to respond to a disturbance involving the rapper and an unidentified woman. Cudi was released in time to perform at the Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee early Saturday.
