Kanye West Previews New Music!

Kanye West stopped by the offices of Facebook in Palo Alto, California, to preview several brand-new tracks for a roomful of rather awestruck employees. And he did it a capella while standing on table, no less. "I've been writing new stuff for the new album and I've just got a couple raps that I really like, so I thought it'd be cool just to say them for you all," West said to the audience of cheering Facebook staffers. "All y'all turn your phones off." He then launched into a mini set that featured spoken-word versions of songs reportedly slated for the new album, including "Lost in the World," "Chain Gang" and "Mama's Boyfriend." The album is rumored to hit stores September 14th.

Katy Perry Releases More Video Stills!

Katy Perry knows you can't wait to see her "Teenage Dream" music video. So to help tide you over until its eventual premiere — which, according to her label, Capitol, will occur sometime in "the next couple of weeks" — she's giving you a sneak peek at the clip right now on YouTube. The "Teenage Dream" teaser clip is made entirely of photos taken from the set of the video, and it only further confirms what we already know about the thing: mainly, that it's going to be very hot, and feature very little clothing.

Here's the link to the video:

19 Killed At Music Festival

Nineteen people were killed and more than 340 injured at the annual Love Parade music festival in the German city of Duisburg on Saturday, the result of a stampede that occurred beneath an overpass at the entrance of the festival grounds. According to The New York Times, police had closed off the festival grounds on Saturday evening, citing overcrowding, but failed to close off the entrance to a 200-meter long tunnel that led to the site of the concert. There were some 1.4 million people inside the Love Parade at the time.
